 1 cup Milk
 ½ cup Water
 5 Green cardamom seeds
 1 Black cardamom seeds
 1 tbsp Black tea
 2 Black peppercorns
 1 Ginger root
 2 Carnation
 1 pinch Ground nutmeg
 ½ tbsp Ground cinnamon
 Honey (To taste, Optional)
 Sugar (To taste)

First, prepare the masala spice mixture. To do this, peel the ginger root and grate it on a coarse grater to about 1–2 cm.

Break the cardamom, clean the grains and, together with other ingredients (except ginger), grind it to powder in a coffee grinder or mortar.

Mix milk with water and bring to a boil. Add spices, cook for 2-3 minutes over low heat. Add honey or sugar to taste. I usually add a teaspoon of honey.

Add tea (granulated or loose leaf) and cook over low heat for another 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and let steep for 5 minutes. Pour into cups through a strainer and enjoy the wonderful taste of masala tea.
